Q & A
Worship
What should I wear?
Please dress modestly. Expect to see suits, dresses, jeans and even t-shirts.

What do you do in worship?
Every Sunday, at 10:45 AM and 6:30 PM…
• We sing together (words are provided)
• We eat the Lord’s Supper (see below)
• We hear a message from the Bible
• We tell praises and prayer requests, then pray
Kids in grades K-5 are welcome to attend Junior Worship-a message and activity time designed just for them.

What Bible should I bring?
Your Bible. We don’t hold one translation above another. We often use the NIV (New International Version).
Bibles are at the building for your use. Don’t have a Bible? Take one home. It’s our gift to you.
Join us in our daily reading program. It only takes 15 minutes a day. Learn more here.
Lord’s Supper (Communion)
What is it?
Bread (without leaven) and grape juice. It reminds us that Jesus Christ died for every person. The bread reminds us of his body. The cup (grape juice) reminds us of his blood.

May I participate?
Christ died for everyone. So, everyone may participate. It’s a time to remember that Christ died for you.
Some people choose not to participate, and we respect that decision.
Music
We have a mix of classic and modern music styles in each service. It’s all to honor God!
To our acapella brethren:
We do use instruments to accompany our singing (as in Psalm 150). We don’t require them, and they don’t overpower our singing. Please come and see for yourself.
Church of Christ
We’re just Christians
We’re an independent congregation. Jesus Christ is our head, our leader. The elders and preacher guide the congregation. We have no national headquarters.
We just use the Bible
The Bible is our only guide. Other books can help us understand the Bible better, but we always agree with the Bible. All our messages and lessons are Bible-based.
We grow together
Our worship services are dedicated to God the Father, and His son Jesus Christ, who died to save us. We also gather to encourage and build up each other.
